Rogers E. Belk serves as the Senior Pastor of True Identity Grace Church. Rogers was born in Lancaster County, SC. He is a brother to five siblings. He is also an identical twin. His mother went home to be with the Lord when he was four years old.

His dad worked hard as a single parent to provide financially and to provide security for their family. He made sure his children were in church every Sunday and had knowledge of God. He instilled this in them by reading the Bible to them each night. Rogers did not realize then, that this precious time spent with his father would catapult him into his destiny. It is a moment he treasures. His father went to his heavenly home when Rogers was fourteen years old.

Rogers knows what It is like to be homeless, hungry, and uncertain about his future. He left home and attended South Carolina State College in 1976. In 1977, he received Jesus as Lord and Savior and then received the call into ministry by open vision. The call to ministry was confirmed by a phone conversation with his sister, advising him that she had a dream of their father telling her that one of the twins was called into the ministry.

Rogers preached his first sermon at his home church in 1979. Afterward, he served in various capacities from local minister to usher to President of the School’s Booster Club in the local church. As his love for God continued to grow, he was impressed by Holy Spirit to attend Charis Bible College. Shortly after graduating, he became an assistant pastor and youth minister upon request.

Rogers’ focus is for every believer to understand their authority and to realize their True Identity is found only in Jesus. For those who have not received Jesus yet, it is his desire for them to know that Jesus absolutely loves them unconditionally and that their sins have already been forgiven.

Rogers and his wife, Rose are graduates of Charis Bible College. They have been blessed with two wonderful children and beautiful grandchildren.

This is our Story

Our Mission

Our vision from God is to teach people their True Identity in Christ Jesus, what the revelation of Jesus' death on the cross means, and the authority God has given to His body. It's called grace through faith. A new life in our spirit was given to us through the death of his Son, Jesus.

It's called the Gospel: " News too good to be true".

Who We Are

At True Identity Grace Church, we are more than a church or congregation, we are family filled with the overwhelming love of our Father.  We are focused on Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  Because of him, we have been given grace to love the world unconditionally.

  • There is one true God in three persons – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • Once a person receives Jesus as their personal lord and savior, they receive the identity of Jesus.
  • Grace has come in the person of Jesus Christ. Law was given by Moses, but grace and truth was given by Jesus.
  • The church is a body of people who has individually made the decision to make Jesus their Lord and Savior.
  • The body of Christ is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.
  • The Bible is God’s word, infallible, inspired and empowered by God. It is our perfect guide in all matters of life.
  •  Jesus Christ is both God and man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin woman named Mary.
  • Jesus lived a sinless life as He walked among men and demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech.
  •  Jesus took all our sins upon Himself, died, and rose again on the third day.
  • Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our high priest and mediator, having accomplished all that was necessary for man’s redemption.
  • Salvation is the gift of God given to man through His Son, Jesus Christ.
  • This gift of salvation is activated by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it produces works pleasing to God.
  • Water baptism is an outward act that demonstrates a believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
  • In the baptism of Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
  • It is essential for man to repent of sin and by grace through faith receive the finished work of Jesus’ death on the cross.
  • By confessing the Lord Jesus with our mouth and believing in our heart results in the regeneration by Holy Spirit.
  • The Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost, empowering believers to live a godly life and to continue in all the works of Jesus.
  • The holy communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him.
  • All born again believers have been commissioned to share the Gospel to all the world.
  • Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again for His body, just as He promise.
